Summer ends with a splash this Labor Day weekend at downtown Phoenix’s Hotel Palomar and Lustre Rooftop Garden bar. The CityScape staycation spot is hosting two parties on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31.
Bringing the “100 Days of Summer” three-month-long event to an end, the Last Day’s of Summer weekend pool party, conveniently on the hundredth day of summer, features live DJs, carnival games on Saturday, and a luau event on Sunday. Expect snocones, popsicles, and strong drinks to keep the party flowing.
The pool opens at 11 a.m. each day atop Hotel Palomar at Two East Jefferson Street. Live DJs are in the mix from 1 to 9 p.m. and 9 p.m. to midnight, following a performance from local artist Luna Aura. Catch live Caribbean music Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. This event is open to the public, and tickets are $10 for non-hotel guests.
