We’ve been dreading it, but it’s finally happened. After a beautiful winter and spring, we had our first 100-degree day, and from here things will only get worse. Air conditioning and summer dresses are appreciated, but pool parties really do the trick. There’s no need to sneak into a hotel pool this Memorial Day Weekend, because there will be plenty of pool parties open to the public. Celebrate a day off with a weekend of debauchery and poolside fun at Hotel Palomar’s Lustre Bar. Festivities include DJs, a photo booth, cornhole, and table tennis. Relax poolside with a specialty cocktail and don’t worry about that farmer’s tan; you’ll have plenty of time to catch up.
