In a world where even Superman can kick the bucket, longevity is to be celebrated.
All About Books & Comics, which has garnered nationwide props in the comics industry, rocks its 33rd anniversary this Saturday, November 29. Since 1981, All About owners Alan and Marsha Giroux have weathered the late ‘80s boom in comics, the subsequent burst bubble in the early ‘90s, and dozens of gee-whiz articles about comics not being for kids anymore. AABC celebrates with great deals on current and classic titles and expects some of the shop’s biggest fans to cosplay it up, too.
The 33rd anniversary celebration for All About Books & Comics is at 5060 North Central Avenue from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, November 28, and through Sunday, November 30. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.allaboutbookandcomics.com or call 602-277-0757.
