This season the Phoenix Suns seem to play to the level of their competition. One night the Suns will be competitive with top teams, the next they’re playing like garbage against bottom-feeders like the Utah Jazz. This inconsistency isn’t terribly surprising — the Suns are a very young team — but it’s bound to give their fans plenty of grays.
If you want to see the Suns playing at their best, Sunday December 15’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors looks like a good bet. The Warriors have as much firepower as any team not named the Heat thanks to Stephon Curry and Klay Thompson, and they’ve got a decent supporting cast to boot, so the Suns will have to elevate their game to play up to Golden State’s level.
The game at US Airways Center, 201 East Jefferson Street, will tip off at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $15 and are available via www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 602-379-7867.
