Think your front yard light display is something to talk about? Think again. The West Valley has taken the idea of tinsel town to whole new heights with its annual all-ages event, Glendale Glitters. The seasonal community to-do invites visitors to walk through the city’s elaborate display of 1.5 million lights while enjoying food, shopping, and plenty of activities for the kids. Glendale Glitters is spread across 16 blocks in historic downtown Glendale, at 59th and Glendale avenues. The lights go on from 5 to 11 p.m. each night through Saturday, January 10. Admission is free.  Carriage rides will be offered from 6 to 9 p.m. at 58th and Glendale avenues for $25 and up to six people. For details, visit www.glendaleaz.com/glitters.
