Temperatures are heating up, and you know what that means — it’s time to break out the swimsuit from the back of your closet, add a couple minutes (or hours) to your treadmill time, and get ready to mingle with strangers (sans clothes) as pool parties invade the club scene.
Get your season started off right with Session Saturdays at OH Pool Bar + Cabanas at the Hotel Valley Ho. The 1950s-style spot has ample swimming space as well as a ton of retro chaise lounges to sit on while sipping the Skyy Vodka/Red Bull specials that the bar offers.
Local favorite Mr. P-Body will be spinning classic and modern hip-hop, house, and rock tracks. “Hotel Valley Ho is very fun and a great value, but not about all the velvet ropes or the vanity,” he says. “Nevertheless, a lot of eye candy is in attendance.”
What a relief to know the spot is less pretentious than what you may be used to in Scottsdale. Okay, back to the treadmill.
