Since there’s really no better accessory than a cocktail in your hand, each week Jackalope Ranch brings you a tasty adult beverage from one of our favorite drinking establishments, complete with recipe. This week: The Patrontini served up by FEZ.
There’s no argument that vodka or gin can make a killer martini, but FEZ shakes things up with a south of the border twist, using tequila as a base for their Patrontini. Patron Silver combines with an array of citrus liqueurs to deliver a refreshing Ode to the Margarita in potent martini form.

Muddle a couple of citrus slices at the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients and fill with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass lined with lots of coarse salt and garnished with lime. Sip this tart and boozy alterna-rita anywhere cool air-conditioning is available and hibernate the heat away.
