This week: The Puck U at Ice House Tavern
Ok, so The Ice House on 38th Street and Thomas Road isn’t exactly the place you’ll find people sipping martinis.
The grungy hockey bar that looks over Arcadia Ice Arena hosts Hospitality Industry Nights on Monday for service industry peeps, live music nights on Fridays and Saturdays, and free comedy on Wednesdays.

The Ice House surprisingly offers a House Cocktail list. Note: There’s no muddling or fresh squeezing, but booze over ice and fitting names, like The Puck U, are really all we need.

Ingredients:
1/2 oz. Malibu
1/2 oz. Madori Melon Liqueur
1/2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Cranberry
Splash of Sprite
In a glass combine ice, Malibu, Madori, vodka and Cranberry. Top off glass with a splash of sprite and garnish glass with whatever fancy looking fruit you can find. The sweet flavors may leave you with the feeling you got hit in the head with a puck the next day but puck, the fun is worth it.
