Beautiful things happen when separate parts merge: Law and order (real or SVU); Crosby, Stills, and Nash; macaroni and cheese. Well, add Samuel Chung, Susan Beiner, and Kurt Weiser to that list. These ASU School of Art ceramics faculty members have chosen 22 pieces from the ASU Art Museum Ceramics Research Center’s permanent collection to form “Fusion: Three Views/One Collection.” The show highlights the unique perspectives of each educator, all ceramic artists themselves, through both their selections for the exhibit and their own pieces showcased. “Fusion” is showing at the ASU Art Museum Brickyard, 699 South Mill Avenue in Tempe, through Saturday, February 28, 2015. Visit for free, and learn more at asuevents.asu.edu.

Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: Nov. 8. Continues through Feb. 28, 2014
