Cheering for the Sun Devils football team while watching them on TV is inherently dumb. Whistle for your favorite players, yell at the refs and clap for big plays all you want — they can’t hear you, chief. That’s why you need to get out of the house and head to the Thirsty Lion Pub & Grill on Saturday, September 13. At 7 p.m., the gastropub is hosting an “official” watch party for ASU’s game against the Colorado Buffaloes in Boulder.
Sparky and some members of the spirit squad will be there giving away tickets to the upcoming UCLA matchup, but more importantly you’ll look just as silly screaming at a TV as everyone else.
Thirsty Lion’s ASU watch party kicks off at 7 p.m. Saturday, September 13 at the pub’s location inside Tempe Marketplace, 2000 East Rio Salado Parkway in Tempe. Visit www.thirstyliongastropub.com or call 480-968-2920 for more.
