Looking for something to do this weekend? “Night Owl” is a quick guide to special nights at bars and clubs around town. We’ll give you a few hints re: cover, dress code, music and atmosphere. Saturdays and Sundays mark the Weekend Happy Hour at Gallo Blanco Cafe. Gallo Blanco‘s fresh ingredients and stylish surroundings make a sweet setting for a relaxed night out, a late lunch or even a boozy brunch. The weekend happy hour let’s you enjoy the cafe’s urban chic vibe while sipping on day drinks such as $5 mimosas and $5 bloody mary’s as well as a series of $3 local beers. The Place:

The Parking: Lot.The Bar: Gallo Blanco has a fun and fresh atmosphere, but a rather dreary bar-top in the front of the restaurant. Luckly, happy hour specials apply to all areas of the cafe (including the rooftop, which has one of the best views of the Phoenix skyline).
The best bargains of the weekend happy hour are the $3 beers, including local selections from Four Peaks and Mud Shark. The $5 cocktail choices include bloody marys and mimosas.
