Each week, Jackalope Ranch brings you a free event, workshop, or you-name-it happening in Phoenix. Because sometimes the best things in life really are free. This week’s freebie: 12th Annual Katsina Doll Marketplace
Calling all beginner and veteran doll collectors, the 12th Annual Kastina Doll Marketplace is returning to the Heard Museum this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This marketplace will showcase the work of Hopi katsina doll carvers both traditional and contemporary. Happening in the Steele Auditorium, guests can enjoy free carving demonstrations, drawings, and musical performances; as well as purchase unique katsina dolls for their own collections.
