You could drive your kids around your neighborhood this holiday season, oohing and aahing at the lame little lawn displays Jimbo from up the street put together. Or you could take your children to ZooLights, which features nearly 4 million LED bulbs shaped into luminous versions of monkeys, lions, peacocks, elephants, or whatever the kids’ favorite animals may be. Your call, Mom and Dad.
ZooLights opens nightly from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. through January 15 at the Phoenix Zoo, 455 North Galvin Parkway in Phoenix. Tickets range from $8 to $18. Call 602-286-3800 or visit phoenixzoo.org for more.
