Who didn’t think about running away to the circus at least once when they were a kid? Thankfully, Zoppé An Italian Family Circus is making it easy to live out those childhood fantasies by bringing the circus to you. Led by sixth-generation circus performer Giovanni Zoppé, this one-ring circus will captivate audiences with acrobatics, dazzling animals, clowns, and more as the performers follow the 170-year-old Zoppé traditions. Audiences will also be wowed by the Osorio family flying through the air in rings, on swings, and off a teeterboard. The circus is kicking off its 2014-15 tour at the Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 North Arizona Avenue, on Friday, December 26 at 7 p.m. For tickets, starting at $22, and more information, visit chandlercenter.org or call 480-782-2680.
Fri., Dec. 26, 7 p.m.; Sat., Dec. 27, 4 & 7 p.m.; Sundays, 1 & 4 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 7 p.m.; Sat., Jan. 3, 1, 4 & 7 p.m. Starts: Dec. 26. Continues through Jan. 2, 2014
