Join Phoenix New Times for a happy hour event on Thursday, August 8 at Tempe’s Handlebar and Grill to raise some funds for the Phoenix Council of the Navy League, a volunteer organization to support the service men and women of the United States Navy and Marines.

This month’s event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the bike-friendly Mill Avenue spot and will put the spotlight on San Tan Brewing Company beers. Attendee will be able to sample the following brews:

A $10 admission fee gets you four drink tickets each of which is good for a full beer. And as if that’s not already a hot deal, a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Phoenix Council of the Navy League so you also get the pleasure of knowing that you’re helping support the service men and women of the Navy as well as their families.
