You probably don’t need much convincing to head over to House of Brews in Gilbert to try one of their nearly fifty different beers on tap, but today and today only there’s actually a pretty good reason to get a pint or two. That’s because the local bar and restaurant is serving up cheap pints during happy hour and some of the proceeds will go to benefit underprivileged students in the Valley.

From 4 until 6 p.m., you can order a $2.50 pint of local Arizona craft beer, with 13 different brews to choose from. 50 cents of that pint purchase will go to the Gilbert Fire and Police departments’ “Back to School” drive to benefit underprivileged students in the area. In previous years, the drive has been focused on donating school supplies, so this year the opportunity to drink local beer and help local kids all at once should be pretty convincing.
