Number 8: Buffalo ’66 at That’s a Wrap

Shameless confession here: I first decided to order That’s a Wrap’s Buffalo ’66 wrap because it’s named after a movie I really dig. (Vincent Gallo and Christina Ricci, spanning time . . .)

Now I order it because I’m obsessed with the crazy rush it gives me. Yes, the shredded chicken is the requisite protein component, but it’s the sauce that really makes the dish. It’s sort of a creamy, light version of the spicy stuff you’d find on Buffalo wings, dripping out from the tortilla wrap. There’s also shredded lettuce and some tomato in there to cool things down just enough.

If you can appreciate good hot wings, you’ll understand the faintest way my face starts to perspire and mouth starts to water when I eat one of these. On a day when caffeine just isn’t enough, this is a tasty way to supercharge.
