CenPho will welcome another wine bar to the neighborhood next week when Central Wine Bar opens at at 4236 North Central Avenue. The new bar and retail store is located in a multi-use space located between George & Dragon and Clever Koi and will share the building with a new salon called Model Citizen.
Central Wine Bar owner Jenna Rousseau will bring her experiences from time spent working in Italy and in San Francisco-area wineries to the table. In addition to selling wines by the bottle and glass, Rousseau will offer wines by the case with no charge for shipping.

Central Wine Bar’s grand opening will be Tuesday, February 11. The wine bar will have four beers and six wines on tap with food options including cheese, sausage, and fruit plates. Bottles of wine also will be available, with a corkage fee of $5 to be able to enjoy them on site.

Because of Rousseau’s connections with California wineries, Central Wine Bar will sell several wines without distribution elsewhere in Arizona. For homebody winos, there’s a delivery service in the future as well as happy hour specials.
