Arrowhead Grill‘s Charles Schwerd has another restaurant in the works, set to open in December in Peoria: Blu Agave Arizona Kitchen.
Look’s like he’s hiring, too.
Located near the Vistancia development (28615 N. El Mirage Rd., Ste. 102), this will be a welcome new independent restaurant in the chain-saturated West Valley, and Schwerd’s second eatery. And if it’s as good as it sounds, it might just have a draw beyond the neighborhood.
Although a menu isn’t available yet, the teaser sounds appealingly comforting, with a regional spin: “Homemade hot buttered flour tortillas, braised short ribs and wood-fired rotisserie chicken are all standard fare at Blu Agave. As well as delicious sides such as queso fresco mashed potatoes, asparagus cole slaw and Cabo San Lucas rice.”
