That may be because today is the 13th annual Cow Appreciation Day celebration at Chick-fil-A. To celebrate, they’ll be giving away a free entree to anyone willing to come
The chicken-themed canteen has based their marketing strategy on the “Eat Mor Chikin” slogan since 1995, promoting the somewhat twisted notion that rebel cows were convincing humans that they should eat chicken, not beef, according to their website. Today’s celebration of National Cow Appreciation Day is a continuation of that campaign.
