Sad news for Paradise Valley folks: Floyd’s Kitchen has shuttered.
Opened over three years ago, the small, neighborhood restaurant featuring Italian, Mediterranean, and American fare was located in a strip mall just north of Cactus on Tatum and across the street from Paradise Valley Mall.
Floyd’s was a locally owned standout given the several chain restaurants in the area. And in a short time, it quickly developed a reputation for walking the line between upscale and affordable dining with its linen-topped tables, wallet-friendly menu, and home cooking with a sophisticated touch.
Closed in August, a “For Lease” sign now covers the exterior sign for Floyd’s Kitchen, the interior and patio have been cleaned out, and a landlord’s notice has been posted on the window.
