Looks like a fresh coat of pale yellow paint wasn’t enough to lure customers into the seemingly cursed building of Rural just north of Broadway.

Plaza Bonita opened its eighth Arizona location just five short months ago in the old pink Tres Margarita’s building (a daring move after a man was discovered dead in the vacant building last summer) with surprisingly good chips and salsa, a huge menu and dirt cheap happy hour cocktails. Sadly, the parking lot still sat empty and the building is once again dark and vacant with a giant “For Sale” sign out front.

Let’s hope that that building isn’t host to any more summertime deaths and the curse is lifted for the next tenants.
