There’s nothing like a cold, frosty beer on a warm day — especially when it’s brewed locally and served straight from the tap. Phoenix is about to get a new microbrewery in Dave’s Electric Brewpub, tentatively scheduled for a soft opening this weekend in a prime location on the corner of College Ave. and 5th St. in Tempe.
The restaurant and bar will open with four beers on tap, full bar and wine offerings. The food menu will slowly be expanded over the first few weeks until things are in full swing, which will likely be in early- to mid-October. Dave’s will carry a range of beers from a Bisbee-based microbrewery (Arizona’s first!), and plans to be brewing its own beer on site by the end of the year.
Hours will be Sunday through Wednesday 11am-11pm and Thursday through Saturday 11am-2am. Look for details and updates in an upcoming issue of our Meal Ticket dining newsletter.
