Domingo por la Noche
Finally, a time and a place to put to use all that money you spent on Rosetta Stone. Every Sunday at Iruna from 4:30 p.m. till close, have a seat at the community table for a night of conversation, sangria, and of course a little comida deliciosa — but you can only speak in Spanish. That’s right, not a lick of English or any other language is to be spoken at this table. If you’re a little rusty, Spanish-English dictionaries will be available. Don’t wanna speak Spanish? That’s okay, you can sit anywhere else in the restaurant and enjoy $20 pitchers of sangria. Call 480-398-3020 for reservations.
Monday Wine Dinner
Save yourself a spot now for Christopher’s Monday Night Wine Dinner featuring wines from Central Coast California winery Laetitia Estate. The 4-course dinner will start with smoked salmon, followed by scallops with roasted red pepper sauce, chicken in red wine with fresh pasta, and apple tart for dessert. $55++ per person. Call 602-522-2344 for reservations.
Candy Corn
We’re not exactly talking about the sugary candy either. We absolutly love this fun idea! Whip up a batch of Caramel Corn and toss in some festive fall candies. There is no such thing as too much sugar during the month of October. Seriously.
