The past months have been busy for Gigi Vo, owner of Five R Cha Thai, the casual eatery of Thai cuisine whose name, R Cha, means horse. Last year, Vo opened up three locations: one in Mesa and a to-go spot in Tempe mid-year, and, in November, took over Downtown’s Thai Elephant, owned by her sister, Noni Vo.
As of around three or four weeks ago, Vo’s latest endeavor has been the opening of her fourth location of Five R Cha at 203 East 7th Sreet in Tempe (7th Street and Forest Avenue).
Unlike the to-go location in Tempe, the newest Five R Cha’s menu of curries, noodles, rice plates and house specialties will be closer to that of the full-service offerings of the Mesa and Downtown locations.
