Have you ever walked into a restaurant, eaten a completely fantastic meal (or a really lousy one, for that matter) and wondered what kind of person made it?
What kind of chef are they? Do they have a sense of humor, would they give you cooking tips, or is that person a talentless jerk who just happens to make a good dish here and there?

Chow Bella is compiling a list of local chefs we think are worth gracing your Twitter feed –whether for their tweets of deals, jokes, deep thoughts or even a thing or two about cooking. Here are the first three.

Dan Moody (@ChefDRM)

The “relation chef” himself, Dan Moody keeps up his Twitter regularly conversing with his followers and occasionally doling out tweets about olive oil abuse and his irritation with freeloading food bloggers.

Justin Beckett (@BeckettsTable)

Arguably one of the best social media users among local chefs is Beckett’s Table owner and chef Justin Beckett. Beckett tweets often with everything from menu sneak peeks to twitpics of unadulterated food porn populating his timeline.

Payton Curry (@paytoncurry)

Former executive chef at Caffe Boa, Payton Curry constantly updates his Twitter with ideas and updates about his newest venture Welcome Diner (including teasing his Easter menu), as well as answering any questions people pose to him on the fly.
