We’re headed into Wednesday night, and that means the Downtown Phoenix Public Market on Central Ave. will be opening in less than an hour. From 4-8 p.m. this evening, the market is hosting two free wine tastings.
Sam and Dana Pillsbury of Pillsbury Wine Company will be pouring wines from their Arizona vineyard. Sam’s an award-winning director, and former co-owner of Southern Arizona’s Dos Cabezas winery. Look for their pouring station in the neighboring Urban Grocery and Wine Bar.
Keeling-Schaefer Vineyards will also be offering samples of their Grenache, Chardonnay and Syrah in the grocery.
We know free wine is a pretty good excuse to get your booty down to the Phoenix Public Market. But if you’re looking for holiday goodies or party supplies, don’t forget to check out the open-air market’s wares, which include Double Check Ranch beef, chocolate-walnut cakes and Dr. Hummus’ pita chips & dip.
