April showers bring May flowers — and you know who really loves flowers? Your mom. Lucky for her, you can one-up the traditional bouquet come Mother’s Day weekend with tickets to the Arcadia Edible Garden Tour happening May 11.
Join fellow horticulture enthusiasts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as you tour, and possibly even taste, the very literal fruits of local gardeners’ labors. Featuring nine Arcadia gardens, including Troy & Rebecca’s Farmyard, Hal & Jill’s Sweet Life Garden, and David & Caroline Van Slyke’s Boho Farm, this tour will highlight the ripe conditions and rich history behind growing fresh food on local level.

Promising “productive landscaping at its finest,” the Arcadia Edible Garden Tour will showcase urban orchards, backyard herb and vegetable gardens, berry hedges, pollinator gardens, DIY composting systems, water ponds, even chicken coops.
