Obviously, this lady knows a thing or two about creative cooking. After all, not many of us could make a meal out of a tub of Country Crock, ketchup, and pasta noodles. But Mama June can. She also can whip up some meal roadkill. And in the video above, she shares her recipe for one of little Alana’s favorite dishes: Cranberry Sauce Casserole.

It’s a pretty simple recipe, with just two ingredients: canned cranberry sauce (and Mama June recommends the straight-up jelly variety without any of those pesky pieces of fruit in them) and sugar. What’s more, the only tools you’ll need are a pan and a can opener — which, by the way, is Mama June’s most-used kitchen appliance.

Cooking up a batch of cranberry casserole is as simple as cutting up your cylinder of cranberry sauce, layering it with sugar and popping the whole pan into the fridge. After a few hours, you’ll have a perfect side dish or dessert for a big ol’ bowl of “sketti.”

Looking for more awesome Mama June recipes? The Cooking With Mama June web series also offers her tutorials on BBQ Chicken and rice (classic), Tune Noodle Casserole, Pork Chop Casserole and the very intriguing Mashed Potato Multi-Meal which features ground beef, corn, cheese and mashed potatoes.
