We’re counting down the days to Pie Social 2011 — 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 12 at 408 E. Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix. Don’t forget, you can get in on the action yourself. Here are details for community bakers. And don’t forget about our celebrity bakers — every day we’ll introduce you to a different one.
Today: Jessica Cuff of The Coffee Shop.
Cuff, along with her sister Jenna Flowers, took their cupcake skills on the road to win Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars” last year. Back home at The Coffee Shop, located next-door to Joe’s Farm Grill, she’s baking up some of the best scones in town. We can’t wait to see what she does with a pie.
Pie is the new ED drug, because even after all these years… it’s still hard! ba-dah-dum!

The hardest part about baking a pie is deciding whether to eat it or sell it…
The Phoenix food scene needs more nutrition and responsibility for diners, specifically in regard to portions, and less anyone that serves fried, nutrition-less, sodium-riddled food to little kids.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you can find me reading rock and fashion biographies and shopping…lame.
I’d like to throw a pie at my kids! They would think it was cool!
