It’s been a big year for restaurateurs Greg Donnally, Brian Chittenden, and executive chef Andrew Nam. As the team behind the Old Town Group responsible for such Scottsdale spots as Stingray Sushi, Geisha A-Go-Go, and Spanish Fly Mexican Beach Club, they opened El Santo Restaurant + Patio Bar and Big B’s Hangover this year, and now are planning to open a new breakfast and lunch spot in Old Town in September.

Called Morning Squeeze, the new restaurant will replace Jimmy Woo’s (now closed) at 4233 North Scottsdale Road.

Here’s what diners can expect:

Morning Squeeze will offer an extensive breakfast menu with a full complement of lunch salads and sandwiches, as well as a full coffee bar and fresh-squeezed juice smoothies. The menu will come courtesy of Old Town Group partner and executive chef, Andrew Nam.

$30,000

“Morning Squeeze was a breakfast/lunch concept we developed several years ago but put on the shelf to develop others first. It’s time,” Says Old Town Group founder and CEO Greg Donnally. “We’re going to invest a substantial amount of money to reinvent the space and open it as a fresh, vibrant, high-profile breakfast and lunch stop with terrific food, coffee bar, smoothies and brunch on the weekends. We will be using the freshest ingredients and local produce wherever we can.”
