With the recent announcements of Trumpet Ale House opening in Downtown Phoenix in August and Tempe’s World of Beer opening its doors Wednesday, August 8, it only makes sense that the city of Scottsdale would get in on the new brew-ha-ha, too.
Named after owner and brewmaster Steve McFate, Fate Brewing Company, a pizzeria and brewpub, will open at 7337 East Shea Boulevard (74th Street and Shea) in September.

Focusing on small-batch beer, Fate will feature a rotating selection of traditional favorites, experimental recipes, and seasonal suds including casks on tap.
And beer lovers can enjoy their favorite along with wood-fired pizza.
McFate’s no stranger to the kettle and mash, the Republic reports he was previously with the Colorado Boy Pub & Brewery in Ridgeway, Colorado.
