Heard Museum Indian Fair & Market
Join the Heard Museum this weekend for the 53rd Annual Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market. The Fair kicks off tonight at 5:30 with a preview reception featuring live entertainment and catered dinner and continues Saturday and Sunday with book signings, live music, art exhibits, traditional dance performances and the most exciting addition…chef demonstrations. 4 different professional chefs will be showing off their stuff at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.Tickets available at the door, cash only. One Taste at a Time
Spend this Sunday evening with The Arc of Tempe and Four Peaks Brewery as they “Build a Caring Community…One Taste At A Time” from 4 – 7 p.m. at the PERA Club located at 1. E Continental Drive in Tempe. Sample over 100 different beers and wine, plus food from more then a dozen vendors. Live music and a silent auction round out the evening. $35-$45 per person. Holy cow, or should we say cheese, this is a monster of a sandwich! Stacks of toasty french bread, roasted roma tomatoes and layers of cheese make up this tempting Triple-Decker Grilled Cheese. We’re making it for lunch today and so should you.
