Weed-infused sweets like brownies and lollipops have been around long enough in home kitchens and dispensaries, but the newest pot treat out of Santa Cruz will surely win over for savory snackers. SC Laboratories posted an Instagram picture of Reef Jerky five days ago, and it immediately blew up for obvious reasons. Our favorite comment on the photo remarked that hopefully Reef Jerky is a gateway cured meat to other things like cannibacon or potsciutto. (Sorry, we pretty much had to.) It’s really only a matter of time before there’s a salumeria and dispensary all in one, right? (Portland, we’re looking at you.)
Although pricing and Arizona availability for the THC-laden treat isn’t currently available, carnivorous medical cardholders in the state hope they won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on some of the meaty Mary Jane.
