How much are Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s teeth worth? A cool $150K, perhaps.

That’s how much the Ohio Congressman is seeking in damages in a lawsuit against a Capitol Hill cafeteria where he suffered “permanent dental and oral injuries” and “loss of enjoyment” in 2008.

He bit into a sandwich wrap and unfortunately crunched into an olive pit, which was called a “dangerous substance” in the civil suit filed in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Leave it to Gawker, of course, to find video of Kucinich on the House floor just a few days after the olive pit incident.

$30,000

It remains to be seen whether one tiny olive (dangerous substance? Really?) will overshadow Kucinich’s UFO sighting.
