I love a little news tidbit with my morning caffeine ritual.
So I’d heard that Royal Coffee — Hayes McNeil’s fab java bar inside the Phoenix Public Market — was opening another spot in Phoenix, at Biltmore Fashion Park. The ritzy mall has had a lot of turnover and change in the past few years (R.I.P. Haus, Retail Lab, and that entire building where Christopher’s Fermier used to be), and after Coffee Plantation closed down to become True Food Kitchen, it hasn’t had a dedicated coffee pitstop besides the Borders cafe.
Well, it’s true about Royal. They’ll be opening a kiosk in the mall’s outdoor courtyard, likely the first week in November. That means I’ll probably be drooling at gizmos in the Apple store, shopping for lipstick in the MAC store, and grabbing a latte all in very close proximity.
This brightens my day.
