Chef Aaron May — the guy behind the infamous Sasquatch Burger — spent the weekend before last braving the rain and getting cozy with crowds at the annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival. If that isn’t enough to make you like him, check this deal out. On Wednesday, April 20, May’s Over Easy restaurants are partnering with St. Mary’s Food Bank to bring you a free bacon & eggs breakfast.
Yep, we said the magic words: free and breakfast bacon. Of course, there is a little bit of a catch.
To get your free breakfast platter, which includes two eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns and coffee or juice/soft drink, you’ll have to bring at least five good non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank. Of course, more food donations are always welcome.
As if that isn’t enough to warrant dragging yourself out of bed at crack o’ doom to be one of the first in line to take advantage of the foodie freebie, you’ll also get a coupon for a free dozen eggs from Hickman’s Family Farms (who are donating all of the day’s eggs).
