You’ve got to hand it to Amy’s Baking Company. Somehow, the Scottsdale restaurant, whose name-calling owner, Amy Bouzaglo, made the news in 2010 after an angry tirade on Yelp following a one-star review, has found the proverbial rabbit hole to travel between television worlds.
Just last December, Amy’s was taped for Kitchen Nightmares, Fox’s “reality” show in which Gordon Ramsay spends a week with a failing restaurant to try and bring it back to life. Now, just two months later, the controversial restaurant is scheduled to appear on Check Please! Arizona, PBS’s popular restaurant review series on which Arizonans share their dining experiences with James Beard Award-winning chef and host Robert McGrath.
