Canada’s most famous snack continues its American invasion with the arrival of Smoke’s Poutinerie at Gila River Arena. Smoke’s Poutinerie, which calls itself the “World’s Largest and Original Poutinerie,” hails from Toronto and is known for its inventive take on the classic québécois dish.

Poutine, of course, is the winning combination of French fries, gravy, and cheese curds. Once exclusive to Canada, poutine has been steadily infiltrating American eateries, becoming an international sensation.

Smoke’s Poutinerie will offer 30 types of poutine, including chili cheesesteak poutine with flat iron steak, double pork poutine with chipotle pulled pork and double-smoked bacon, as well as various vegetarian options.

The Poutinerie will open for business in the Coyote’s arena on Saturday, October 10, just in time for the arrival of hockey season, and will be located in Plaza Concourse section 119. The deal was facilitated by Levy Restaurants, the restaurant group behind a majority of sports and entertainment food vendors in the U.S. and Canada.
