Looks: So far so good. I guess you can’t really go wrong with tomato soup. As long as it’s red, you’re on the right track. The sandwich or “melt” looks like a half a Hot Pocket with a few pretend grill marks.
Taste: Yum! The soup is thick and savory, perfect for dipping the little hot pocket in. A little on the garlic-y side but delicious none the less. The “Melt” tastes just like a hot pocket, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I don’t know about bakery fresh taste, but it comes closer then anything else I have had out a microwave. The crispy-on-the-outside and chewy-on-the-inside bread was filled with lots of chunks of ham in a flavorful, melty cheese sauce. It’s like all the pleasure of eating a hot pocket without the guilt of anyone knowing(let’s be honest, Hot Pockets are normally for stoners and teenagers, not office professionals). The portion is just right and leaves you satisfied but not overly full.
Score: on a scale of 1- 10; I would give this an 10. Hands down the best thing I have eaten while writing this blog yet.
