But even the most lackluster day of the week can get a little infusion on fun when you throw in some Latin flair. Which is why even we could be compelled to head out of the house for SOL Cocina‘s Taco & Tequila Tuesday, a weekly event they’re kicking off tomorrow night.

Beginning on February 5, guests can snag quite a few deals at the Scottsdale Quarter restaurant from 4 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday evenings. The special menu features a slew of specials including chicken, carnitas or fish tacos for $3 or less and guacamole for $5.50. Discounted drinks and live music could make your Tuesday nights a little less dull.

To kick off the Tuesday night affair retired Major League Baseball pitcher Mike Hampton, a spokesperson and investor in Pura Vida Tequila, will guest bartend while diners get a chance to win a signed Fender guitar by ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons. Local singer and songwriter Jake Dean will play acoustic music to round out the event.
