In an announcement on her Facebook page, Coe says her new shop is opening today, from 4 to 10 p.m., and that those hours will be in effect all weekend long.
She goes on to say the new shop will offer a selection of sweets, comfy couches, and cupfuls of Lux coffee.
Currently, Tammie Coe has two other locations: a bakery in Arcadia, open for catering and custom orders, and a downtown location, at 610 East Roosevelt Street, offering breakfast and lunch in addition to a full line of Tammie Coe Cakes and MJ Bread, artisan breads created by Coe’s husband and master baker, MJ Coe. MJ Coe, incidentally, designed the bread and artisinal pizzas for Federal Pizza.
On February 5 of next year, Tammie Coe Cakes will open a space in Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor Airport.
