Fans of the American Public Media program The Splendid Table (which airs every Sunday on KJZZ) and its host, Lynne Rossetto Kasper, won’t want to miss spending an evening — and sharing a cocktail — with the American radio journalist and food writer when she comes to the Valley.

Kasper will be joining top Valley mixologists Shel Bourdon of Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails; Travis Nass of the Hermosa Inn’s Last Drop; Dwayne Allen from The Breadfruit and Rum Bar; and Richie Moe from Citizen Public House from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 12, at the Hotel Palomar to host a cocktail tasting event.
Event-goers will get to listen in on discussions between Kasper and the four mixologists as they work their artisanal spirit magic, sip and enjoy their finished products, and nosh on complementary hor d’oeuvres.
