Generosity always goes well with some good food and wine to celebrate.

This is the secret to success for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, which is hosting its 35th annual Taste event this Sunday evening at Kierland Commons. It’s the organization’s main fundraiser of the year.

The semi-formal outdoor soiree draws some 6,000 people, thanks to an exhaustive roster of restaurants, plenty of wines to sample, and live music. There are more than 50 participating eateries this year, including Zinc Bistro, The Greene House, Deseo, Stingray Sushi, Los Sombreros, and Asia de Cuba.

Afterward, from 9 p.m. to midnight, there’s an afterparty amusingly called Post-Taste at nearby Barcelona. (Wisely, they didn’t call it After Taste!)
