I hope they’re having fun down at Phoenix Public Market’s Urban Grocery & Wine Bar, because time sure flies.
It’s already been a year since the brick-and-mortar market and restaurant — sibling to the outdoor farmers market — first opened its doors to serve the Downtown community. And to celebrate, tonight’s regular Wednesday evening outdoor market festivities will come with treats for customers.
From 4 to 6 p.m., sample and vote on cakes from a bake-off between Tracy Dempsey Originals, Bread Basket Bakery, Honey Moon Sweets, and the Market Cafe. Taste ice cream from Sweet Republic and Grateful Spoon, and sample wines from Dos Cabezas.
