Christmas comes a little bit early for the folks at Over Easy, who will be featured tonight on The Food Network’s “The Best Thing I Ever Ate.”

Chef Aaron May’s retro-inspired diner, which started off as a breakfast joint but now serves equally decadent lunch fare, is in the spotlight for its scrumptious Waffle Dogs (pictured above) — and guess who brought this dish to the network’s attention?

Chef Beau MacMillan of elements, who’s a TV insider these days thanks to his role on The Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America” (which was the highest-rated and most-watched premiere in the history of the network; Season Two premieres January 2).
