Vegans and veg-heads, listen up!
Tickets are still available for the first-ever Vegan Omakase Dinner tonight at Roka Akor. And don’t think the Scottsdale restaurant is letting just anyone dream up this meal of vegetarian-friendly comfort food. It’s tapped chef Damon Brasch of Green restaurant to cook for the special event.
Brasch opened Green New American Vegetarian in 2006 with the goal of offering comfort food classics to those who choose not to eat meat. Since then, he’s opened a second location in Central Phoenix and has won numerous Best of Phoenix awards, including Best Vegetarian Restaurant and Best Vegan Restaurant.
The dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Roka Akor in Scottsdale. Tickets cost $70 per person (plus $25 for tax, gratuity, and service fee) and can be purchased online.
