The station formerly known as KDKB didn’t take long after the format change to start hosting concerts.
Alt AZ 93.3 has announced a concert on April 10 in Quail Run Park in Mesa featuring Death Cab for Cutie. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. for $25.
Death Cab for Cutie is one of the more successful alt-rock bands of the 2000s, and their sound goes down smooth like a fine shot of bourbon, if that bourbon liked cuddling and took the time to listen to you talk about your feelings.
They’re calling the even FestivALTAZ. The station’s website promises more bands will be announced soon, so check back for updates.
