My Chemical Romance may still be participating in Sound Strike, but punk band Blink-182 hasn’t scratched Arizona from its tour itinerary. Per the band’s website, Blink-182 will be performing at the Tempe Beach Park Amphitheatre on September 30.
Blink-182 is still recording their first new album since 2003’s Blink-182, but drummer Travis Barker told Rolling Stone that for the first time in nine years, they’ll play some new music on this tour.
Though MCR won’t be in tow for the Phoenix show (Blink-182’s website simply states “My Chemical Romance will not be appearing at this event”), indie rock sensations Matt & Kim will perform before Blink-182 takes the stage.
