It’s summer. The nights are short. Therefore, so is the nightlife.
This time around, instead of waiting for nightfall, we decided to head out while the sun was still up (gasp!) to check out “An Evening of POP!” at the Heard Museum (click here for the slideshow). It was all a part of the monthly third Friday Native + You (NU) event at the Heard where the world-renowned museum is open to the public, the cafe is serving food, and a cash bar is serving sweet, sweet booze.
Every month features musical guests and on Friday, June 18, none other than Mr. Charlie Brand of Miniature Tigers fame treated his die-hard fans to an acoustic set inside the museum.
The whole ordeal wrapped up at 9 p.m. — just in time for the real nightlife to begin.
